What Yawble's site records about a visit, and what it never does.
What is recorded
Each page you view and each tracked button you press (the copy buttons beside the install commands, for example), with the time, the page, the site that linked you here (its name, never its full address), the campaign values in the link you followed (utm_source and the like), whether you are on a phone, a tablet or a computer, and your browser's family. Package downloads from the marketplace are counted the same way.
Your IP address, and the place it points to: country, region and city. The place is looked up on our own server, in a copy of DB-IP's database; your address is not sent to anyone to find it.
If you are in the European Union, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland
You are asked first. Until you accept, nothing about your visit is recorded and no cookie is set; if you decline, that stays so. Where we cannot tell where you are, we ask too. A package download from there, which a script may make without a page to ask on, is counted by its country alone: no IP address, no cookie.
You can change your answer at any time in Cookie settings.
Three cookies
yv holds a random number that tells a returning browser from a new one, for 13 months. ys holds a random number for the current visit, and ends after 30 minutes without a page view. yc holds your answer to the question above, if you were asked, for 13 months. None of them holds anything about you, and no other site can read them.
What is never recorded
Your browser's full identification string, anything you type, and anything from another site. Nothing goes to an analytics company or an advertiser: the records stay in DJL Systems, Inc.'s own storage.
The product tour on the home page is a still from this site until you press play. Only then does YouTube's player load, from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube's own privacy policy applies to what it records.
Opting out
Turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser: page views are then counted with no cookie, no IP address and nothing that links one to another, and button presses are not recorded at all. Or turn off Performance in Cookie settings: nothing about your visits is then recorded, and the yv and ys cookies are removed. Blocking scripts or cookies for this site works too.
How long
Records, IP addresses included, are deleted after 13 months.
Where the place comes from
