Yawble

License

Free to use, self-host and modify, including at work. The only thing you can't do is sell Yawble as a hosted service. Every version becomes Apache 2.0 after two years.

Yawble is source-available under the Functional Source License, Version 1.1, Apache-2.0 future license (SPDX: FSL-1.1-ALv2). Copyright (c) 2026 DJL Systems, Inc.

You may use, copy, modify, and share this software for any permitted purpose. That includes running it yourself, internal use inside a company, non-commercial education and research, and professional services you provide to someone who is themselves using it under this license. Making Yawble, or a product with the same or substantially similar functionality, available to others as a commercial product or service that substitutes for it is not a permitted purpose.

Two years after a given version is published, that version also becomes available under the Apache License 2.0. Newer versions stay under the Functional Source License until each one reaches its own two-year date.

The Yawble name and logo are trademarks. This license does not allow their use on a hosted service or a fork. Contributions are accepted only under the contributor agreement, so DJL Systems, Inc. and its successors can keep building Yawble, including commercial offerings.

This is not an OSI-approved open source license. Describe it as source-available, or as fair source.
